Hello everyone, there have been discussions recently about tuning up Hydroid because he is very bad and I find myself wholeheartedly agreeing, so I thought I'd make a post about my ideas for a theoretical Hydroid rework. Ultimately I would essentially like to take the ideas of Vauban, Baruuk, and Grendel. Before Hydroid, there used to be Vauban, Ember and Wukong that were below him. Now, back then, these were truly garbage frames, especially Vauban. These were all reworked to be excellent or decent frames. Ember and Wukong became top-tier, while Vauban became just average. DE also looked at Hydroid very recently and gave him a small buff.
